As his name indicates, DJ Marseille stems from the second biggest city in France. Growing up in the shadow of Paris, DJ Marseille struggled to create his own identity; his own sound.
After moving to New York City in the 90's, DJ Marseille has become a premier DJ, producer and remixer, creating a remix of "Someone Else" for notorious New York City rockers, The Plastic FanTastics.
On "New Delhi, NY", DJ Marseille seamlessly blends the electronic House sounds of New York City with the foreign instruments and scales of India. A wondrously enlightening album by someone who is not afraid of exploring new frontiers and will surely become one of the most important DJs of our time.
